該工廠將位于越南頭頓市南部，設(shè)計(jì)產(chǎn)能為1000萬(wàn)立方米（350萬(wàn)噸/年）。

越南國(guó)家石油公司正在起草投資程序，計(jì)劃在今年10月前完成。

據(jù)政府稱(chēng)，越南的兩座煉油廠分別于2009年和2018年投入運(yùn)營(yíng)，但都只能滿足國(guó)內(nèi)需求的70%左右。

有了這座新工廠，越南的原油總產(chǎn)能將達(dá)到2300萬(wàn)立方米，預(yù)計(jì)足以滿足國(guó)內(nèi)使用。

目前的原油勘探僅滿足國(guó)內(nèi)石油生產(chǎn)原料的50%。

由于股東在原油采購(gòu)融資問(wèn)題上存在分歧，這個(gè)東南亞國(guó)家正面臨汽油短缺，不得不動(dòng)用其燃料儲(chǔ)備，因?yàn)槠渥畲蟮臒捰蛷S在1月份減產(chǎn)。

官方數(shù)據(jù)顯示，越南前兩個(gè)月進(jìn)口石油產(chǎn)品135萬(wàn)立方米，較平均每月50萬(wàn)立方米大幅增加。

Vietnam plans to build third oil refinery

Vietnam is seeking to build its third oil refinery to meet domestic consumption demand as the country is facing a supply shortage and soaring energy prices.

The plant, which is set to be located in the southern province of Vung Tau, has a design capacity of 10 MMm3 (3.5 MMtpy).

Vietnam's state oil firm PetroVietnam is drafting investment procedures, which it aims to complete by this October.

Two refinery plants in Vietnam were put into operation in 2009 and 2018, according to the government, but both only meet around 70% of domestic demand.

With this new plant, Vietnam's total capacity would reach 23 MMm3, which was expected to be enough for domestic use.

It is noted that current crude oil exploration only met 50% of the raw materials for domestic petroleum production.

The Southeast Asian country is facing a shortfall of petrol and had to tap into its fuel reserves as its largest refinery cut production in January due to a disagreement between shareholders over financing for crude oil procurement.

Vietnam imported 1.35 MMm3 of petroleum products in the first two months, a significant jump from an average monthly amount of 500,000 m3, official data showed.
