據(jù)《能源年》10月4日西珀斯報(bào)道，澳大利亞獨(dú)立勘探與生產(chǎn)公司卡納文能源公司（Carnarvon Energy）宣布，該公司在澳大利亞Bedout子盆地的前20個(gè)勘探區(qū)塊中發(fā)現(xiàn)了超過15億桶油當(dāng)量的潛在資源。

該公司在WA-435-P、WA-436-P、WA-437-P和WA-438-P許可區(qū)的勘探活動(dòng)中發(fā)現(xiàn)了100多個(gè)勘探前景區(qū)。

在2022年3月WA-438-P區(qū)塊的Pavo-1探井發(fā)現(xiàn)重大發(fā)現(xiàn)后，對(duì)每個(gè)承租區(qū)的前5個(gè)前景區(qū)進(jìn)行了重新評(píng)估。

Carnarvon Energy hits big pay offshore Australia

Carnarvon Energy has identified more than 1.5 billion boe of potential resources from its top 20 exploration plays on the Bedout Sub-Basin in Australia, the E&P independent announced on Monday.

The company has found more than 100 prospects on its exploration campaigns across the WA-435-P, WA-436-P, WA-437-P and WA-438-P permits.

The top five prospects in each concession were re-assessed following a significant discovery on the Pavo-1 exploration well on the WA-438-P block in March 2022.

Exploration wells on the basin had a success rate of 70%.

“All this exciting potential is underpinned by the Dorado and Pavo discovered resources of over 200 million barrels of oil and associated gas, with the liquids development the first step in unlocking the significant potential of the Bedout Sub-basin,” said Carnarvon Energy’s Managing Director and CEO Adrian Cook.

Carnarvon Energy has equity of 20-30% across all involved permits, with operator Santos holding the remaining shares.
